Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment with precision and safety compliance
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counting and data entry in WMS systems
- Coordinate efficient loading/unloading of trucks and dock scheduling
- Maintain clean, organized warehouse spaces following OSHA and 5S standards
- Mentor junior staff on operational procedures and safety protocols
- Implement process improvements to optimize workflow and reduce waste
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless supply chain operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse or logistics experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Excellent problem-solving skills and team leadership abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required
