Responsibilities
- Execute complex inventory management protocols with RF scanning technology
- Operate heavy machinery (forklifts, pallet jacks) in OSHA-compliant manner
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading of high-value goods
- Maintain meticulous warehouse safety standards and equipment inspections
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum space utilization and workflow efficiency
- Train junior associates on SOPs and quality control procedures
- Generate real-time operational reports for continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse experience with high-value inventory handling
- Valid forklift certification and heavy machinery proficiency
- Expertise in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly and work in varied temperatures
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Experience with cross-docking and JIT inventory systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and team leadership experience
