Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software code using modern technologies.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues during evening maintenance windows to ensure 99.9% system uptime.
- Participate in code reviews and architecture planning sessions with a cross-functional team.
- Write comprehensive documentation for codebases, APIs, and deployment procedures.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot database queries for efficiency.
- Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases and ensure software reliability.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies to recommend improvements for our tech stack.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with proficiency in Java, Python, or C#.
- Strong experience with React, Node.js, or Angular for front-end development.
- Deep understanding of SQL and database management (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be available to work a flexible evening shift schedule (e.g., 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM EST).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
