Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Lead the end-to-end design and development of high-performance software applications using modern technologies.
- Code Review: Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior developers and engineers, fostering a growth-oriented team environment.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement robust solutions to optimize system performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to define features and deliverables.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer and system maintenance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript, with experience in frameworks like React or Angular.
- Database: Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced agile environment.
- Location: Must be willing to work from our Milwaukee, WI office or hybrid model.
