Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic Initiatives: Spearhead the end-to-end lifecycle of critical infrastructure projects, including ticketing systems, fan engagement platforms, and venue Wi-Fi networks.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, operations) and high-level executives to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential bottlenecks and technical risks early, developing contingency plans to ensure 99.99% system uptime during the event.
- Vendor Oversight: Manage relationships with third-party technology vendors, ensuring contracts are met and integration standards are upheld.
- Data-Driven Reporting: Generate high-level project reports and dashboards, translating technical metrics into actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Legacy Transition: Oversee the migration and integration of legacy systems into the modern 2026 ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of project management experience in the technology or large-scale event sector.
- Certification: PMP, PgMP, or PRINCE2 certification is highly preferred.
- Event Knowledge: Demonstrated experience working on major international sporting events or infrastructure megaprojects.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), cloud infrastructure, and data analytics.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel to various US locations and work irregular hours as the 2026 event approaches.
