Responsibilities
- Manage specialized collections with advanced cataloging systems (MARC, BIBFRAME)
- Lead digital literacy workshops for adults and seniors
- Oversee interlibrary loan operations and resource sharing networks
- Supervise part-time staff and volunteers in patron services
- Develop community partnerships with local schools and nonprofits
- Implement circulation policies and manage fine resolution systems
- Curate rotating exhibits and coordinate public programming
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Library Science (MLS) or equivalent experience
- 3+ years library operations with supervisory experience
- Advanced proficiency in integrated library systems (ILS)
- Expertise in metadata standards and digital preservation
- Strong grant writing and budget management skills
- NC driver's license with clean record
- Bilingual proficiency (Spanish preferred)
