Responsibilities
- Manage digital archives and cataloging systems using OCLC and MARC standards
- Lead patron instruction workshops on research databases and digital literacy
- Oversee interlibrary loan operations and resource sharing networks
- Develop and maintain specialized collections in emerging technologies
- Train and mentor junior library staff on service excellence protocols
- Implement outreach programs for underserved community populations
- Manage library technology infrastructure including self-service kiosks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of library experience with digital resource management
- Proficiency in ILS systems (e.g., Sierra, Evergreen)
- Advanced research database expertise (ProQuest, EBSCO, JSTOR)
- Experience with metadata standards and digital preservation
- Valid Oregon driver's license for outreach program travel
- ALA-accredited certification or equivalent
