Responsibilities
- Lead cataloging and metadata management for 50,000+ digital and physical assets
- Develop and implement community outreach programs serving 5,000+ patrons monthly
- Train staff on advanced library management systems and digital literacy tools
- Oversee interlibrary loan operations with 15+ partner institutions
- Manage reference services for academic, professional, and personal research
- Coordinate preservation of rare collections and archival materials
- Analyze usage data to optimize resource allocation and service delivery
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Library Science (MLS/MLIS) from ALA-accredited institution
- 5+ years progressive experience in academic or public library environments
- Expertise in MARC cataloging, RDA standards, and metadata schemas
- Proven ability to develop and execute community engagement initiatives
- Advanced proficiency with ILS platforms (e.g., Sierra, Evergreen)
- Experience managing digital collections and preservation protocols
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making background
