Responsibilities
- Manage digital and physical collections using advanced cataloging systems
- Deliver specialized research support to academic and professional patrons
- Oversee interlibrary loan operations with national/international partners
- Develop and execute community outreach programs for diverse audiences
- Maintain archival collections following preservation best practices
- Train and mentor junior library staff on service excellence
- Implement digital literacy workshops for adults and seniors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or Information Management
- 3+ years of professional library experience with digital resources
- Advanced proficiency in ILS systems (e.g., Sierra, Koha)
- Expertise in metadata standards (Dublin Core, MARC)
- Strong project management and budgeting skills
- Experience with grant writing for cultural institutions
- MLS degree preferred for senior track positions
