Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the implementation of the company's 2026 strategic roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical best practices.
- System Design: Create high-level system designs for scalable microservices and distributed systems capable of handling massive data throughput.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, conducting code reviews and technical architecture discussions to foster a culture of excellence.
- Technical Strategy: Evaluate emerging technologies (AI, Quantum computing interfaces, Edge computing) and integrate viable solutions into our core stack.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical specifications.
- Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in current systems and implement architectural changes to improve speed, scalability, and reliability.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a Lead Architect or Senior Engineering role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Python, Go, or Java. Strong proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, or GCP.
- Framework Knowledge: Experience with modern web frameworks (React, Node.js) and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and architect resilient failover mechanisms.
