Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives for 2026+ roadmap, identifying disruptive trends in AI, biotech, climate tech, and digital ecosystems
- Develop and execute horizon-scanning methodologies using data analytics, scenario planning, and expert networks
- Translate future scenarios into actionable strategic recommendations for product development and market positioning
- Present foresight findings to executive leadership and board members through compelling visual narratives
- Build and manage an internal innovation lab network to prototype future-facing solutions
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate emerging technologies into core product strategy
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global innovation forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership roles
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Proven track record of translating future insights into successful commercial strategies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills with executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFPC, WFS) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenario work or innovation roadmaps
