Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Technology Horizon Scan, identifying emerging trends with 5-10 year impact potential
- Architect strategic innovation roadmaps aligning with company vision and market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Scenario Planning' workshops with engineering, design, and product teams
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring innovation maturity and future-readiness
- Partner with venture capital arms to scout and integrate emerging technologies
- Publish thought leadership in industry journals and executive briefings
- Represent company at global futurist conferences and policy summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, technology forecasting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, quantum, etc.)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or equivalent methodology training
- Exceptional data storytelling and visualization capabilities
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario planning and trend impact analysis
- Experience scaling innovation frameworks in enterprise environments
