Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal paradigms through 2026
- Develop quantitative trend models and qualitative scenario-planning frameworks for strategic decision-making
- Present future-state analyses to executive stakeholders with compelling visualizations
- Coordinate cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Author thought leadership publications and industry foresight reports
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Integrate future intelligence into corporate strategy and R&D pipeline
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation management, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning methodologies, and trend analysis tools
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or future scenario projects
