Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and quantify disruptive forces (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Develop and maintain the 2026+ strategic innovation framework with quarterly refresh cycles
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future scenarios
- Author high-impact foresight reports and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Champion innovation experiments with dedicated R&D budget and rapid prototyping resources
- Build and mentor a dedicated futurist team while establishing industry thought leadership
- Integrate foresight outcomes into product roadmaps and corporate strategy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology adoption curves
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex concepts
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFM) or equivalent practical experience
- Experience scaling foresight operations within enterprise environments
- Deep understanding of global megatrends (demographic, environmental, technological)
