Responsibilities
- Analyze global technological, social, and economic trends to forecast market shifts through 2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market expansion initiatives
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with industry disruptors, academic institutions, and government bodies
- Present compelling future scenarios to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Drive R&D investments in emerging technologies like AI ethics, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Create thought leadership content including whitepapers, keynote presentations, and industry reports
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into successful commercial outcomes
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, IoT, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional data analysis and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in Fortune 500 or high-growth environments
- Strong public speaking and executive communication skills
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic impact
