Responsibilities
- Analyze global trends, technologies, and societal shifts to identify opportunities and threats for 2026 and beyond
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive strategic foresight framework for the organization
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for multiple future possibilities
- Integrate future insights into product roadmaps, business strategy, and innovation processes
- Present findings to executive leadership and board members to inform decision-making
- Build and manage a network of futurists, industry experts, and thought leaders
- Author white papers, articles, and reports on future trends and their implications
- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of innovation and forward-thinking
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Technology Forecasting, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation, or future-focused roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic foresight methodologies
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex information
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience addressing executive audiences
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies, including AI, biotech, and sustainable energy
- Experience with scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning
