Responsibilities
- Professional Dog Walking: Conduct daily walks for multiple dogs, ensuring they get adequate exercise, mental stimulation, and socialization.
- Pet Feeding & Hygiene: Administer food and water as instructed, scoop waste, and ensure living areas are clean and sanitary.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer prescribed medications and supplements to dogs with health requirements.
- Client Communication: Provide daily updates, photos, and feedback to pet owners via our app or email.
- Safety & Emergency Response: Monitor weather conditions and dog behavior to ensure safety at all times; respond promptly to any health or behavioral issues.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure your vehicle is clean and ready for service before each shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional dog walking or pet sitting experience preferred.
- Reliability: Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to walk 1-3 miles daily, handle dogs of various sizes (up to 80lbs), and lift equipment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Licensing: Must be at least 18 years old.
