Responsibilities
- Compassionate Care: Provide daily walking and exercise for dogs of varying sizes and temperaments in the Scottsdale area.
- Health Monitoring: Observe pets for any signs of illness, injury, or behavioral changes and report immediately to the pet owner.
- Hygiene & Safety: Ensure all waste is picked up promptly and safely to maintain public cleanliness.
- Feeding & Admin: Administer food and medications (if applicable) and update digital logs regarding the pet's daily routine.
- Client Communication: Send photo updates and detailed feedback to owners via our proprietary app to build trust and rapport.
- Route Management: Efficiently plan walking routes to maximize time and ensure punctuality.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of professional dog walking or pet sitting experience is required.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and dependability is essential.
- Licensing: Valid Arizona Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to walk up to 2-3 miles per day and lift dogs up to 50 lbs.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Insurance: Proof of liability insurance is highly preferred.
