Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages using precise techniques
- Lead daily espresso machine maintenance and cleaning protocols
- Train new baristas on coffee preparation and customer service standards
- Develop seasonal menu offerings and conduct tastings for staff
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, syrups, and supplies
- Uphold strict sanitation and safety procedures
- Engage customers with product knowledge and warm hospitality
- Collaborate with management on operational improvements
Qualifications
- 2+ years professional barista experience with espresso mastery
- Deep knowledge of coffee origins, roasting profiles, and brewing methods
- Ability to work efficiently in high-volume, fast-paced environments
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in beverage preparation
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- ServSafe Food Handler certification preferred
