Responsibilities
- Expertly craft premium espresso beverages and pour-over coffee using premium Hawaiian beans
- Lead training sessions for junior baristas on brewing techniques and customer service excellence
- Develop seasonal menu innovations featuring local ingredients and tropical flavor profiles
- Manage inventory control and maintain equipment to ensure peak performance
- Deliver personalized customer consultations on coffee origins and flavor profiles
- Participate in community events and coffee workshops to elevate brand presence
- Uphold rigorous hygiene and sustainability standards across all operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional barista experience with specialty coffee certification
- Advanced proficiency in latte art, espresso calibration, and alternative brewing methods
- Proven ability to train and mentor junior staff effectively
- Deep knowledge of Hawaiian coffee varietals and sustainable sourcing practices
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a passion for customer education
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic inventory management and POS system experience
- Food Handler's Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
