Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Optimize database performance and ensure high availability across distributed systems.
- Lead technical troubleshooting during peak evening and weekend operational windows.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers to define technical roadmaps and feature specifications.
- Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Docker.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development with a focus on Java.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently during off-hours shifts.
- Knowledge of distributed systems and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience.
