Responsibilities
- Lead the research and development of foundational AI models aligned with the 2026 product roadmap and long-term strategic goals.
- Design and implement novel machine learning architectures to improve model accuracy, speed, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and design to translate research into deployable applications.
- Stay at the forefront of industry trends, analyzing new papers and technologies to ensure Apex Horizon Labs remains a market leader.
- Mentor junior researchers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Present technical findings to stakeholders and the wider research community through publications and conferences.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in research, applied AI, or a related technical role.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- Extensive experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX).
- Proven track record of publishing research in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, etc.) or industry-leading patents.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
