Responsibilities
- Design and implement fluid, high-performance 2D animations using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern animation libraries (GSAP, Anime.js).
- Optimize animation rendering to ensure 60fps performance across all devices and browsers.
- Create and maintain a library of reusable animation components and assets.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to translate static mockups into dynamic, interactive user interfaces.
- Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews for junior developers.
- Debug complex animation issues and troubleshoot cross-browser compatibility problems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in motion design and web technologies.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D animation or motion design for the web.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid, Variables).
- Expert knowledge of GreenSock Animation Platform (GSAP) and other animation libraries.
- Experience with SVG manipulation, Canvas API, or WebGL basics.
- Portfolio demonstrating advanced motion design skills and technical implementation.
- Excellent understanding of responsive design principles and performance optimization.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
