Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays, ensuring the store is organized and visually appealing at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock needs to management to prevent out-of-stock situations.
- Process customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and promotions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized sales floor and fitting room areas.
- Assist in special events and seasonal promotional activities as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory; training provided.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse customer base.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to stand and move around the sales floor for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
- Proficiency with technology and willingness to learn new POS systems.
