Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Interact with customers to assess their specific equipment needs and provide expert, tailored recommendations.
- Sales Execution: Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales transactions accurately and handle cash and credit payments.
- Inventory Management: Maintain the showroom floor, organize stock, and ensure all equipment displays are clean, safe, and fully stocked.
- Rental Support: Assist in the inspection, cleaning, and minor maintenance of rental equipment before and after customer use.
- Target Achievement: Collaborate with management to understand daily goals and contribute to meeting monthly sales targets.
- Client Relations: Resolve customer inquiries professionally and build long-term relationships to encourage repeat business.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; previous retail or equipment sales experience is highly preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical features to a diverse customer base.
- Physical Requirements: Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and performing basic manual tasks.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory management software or point-of-sale systems.
- Driving: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (for delivery or on-site support as needed).
- Attitude: A proactive, safety-conscious mindset and a genuine desire to help others succeed with their projects.
