Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers with a warm, professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Maintain the visual appeal of the sales floor by organizing merchandise and ensuring displays are tidy.
- Assist customers in locating products and provide detailed product information and recommendations.
- Handle cash handling procedures, including counting drawers and balancing daily deposits.
- Collaborate with management to implement store strategies and achieve monthly sales targets.
- Process incoming stock and assist with inventory management duties.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to stand and move around the sales floor for extended periods.
- Familiarity with basic computer applications and POS systems.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality.
- Reliable transportation is a plus for store visits.
