Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional attitude to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently, processing various payment methods.
- Restock merchandise, organize shelves, and ensure the sales floor is clean, tidy, and inviting at all times.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and store policies.
- Handle customer returns and exchanges in accordance with company guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions and new arrivals to better assist shoppers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to providing excellent customer service.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
