What You'll Do:
- Engage with customers to provide a welcoming and personalized shopping experience.
- Maintain the visual appeal of the store by ensuring products are stocked, organized, and displayed correctly.
- Process transactions accurately at the point of sale (POS) and handle cash, credit, and gift cards.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting regular stock checks.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and loss prevention protocols.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor, ensuring their shopping needs are met efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment, including restocking shelves and folding merchandise.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, processing transactions and handling returns or exchanges.
- Process inventory stock, including receiving shipments and verifying merchandise quality and quantity.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and store policies promptly.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and loss prevention procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
