Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers warmly as they enter the store, providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Assist customers in locating products, answering questions, and making informed purchase decisions.
- Keep the sales floor, fitting rooms, and stockrooms organized, clean, and well-stocked at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock merchandise to ensure product availability.
- Handle cash transactions with high attention to detail and adhere to company security policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
