Responsibilities
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately to process customer transactions.
- Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with strict accuracy and accountability.
- Assist with bagging purchases and maintaining the cleanliness of the checkout area.
- Process returns, exchanges, and customer loyalty program sign-ups.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure shelves are stocked and displays are organized.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is preferred.
- Strong basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation is required.
