Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service through product knowledge, recommendations, and personalized assistance
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash handling best practices
- Execute visual merchandising standards to create eye-catching displays and maintain store aesthetics
- Manage inventory through stock rotation, replenishment, and loss prevention protocols
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals
- Assist with store opening/closing procedures including safety checks and cash reconciliation
- Participate in product training to stay updated on new arrivals and promotions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication skills with ability to engage diverse clientele
- Basic math proficiency and comfort handling cash/POS systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Positive attitude with solution-oriented mindset
- San Diego residency preferred (local knowledge a plus)
