Responsibilities
- Greet customers immediately with a friendly demeanor and offer assistance with their needs.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Stock shelves, organize product displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean, tidy, and visually appealing.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment and cycle counts.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily sales targets and store goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
