Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers with a friendly, professional demeanor, ensuring a welcoming store atmosphere.
- Assist customers in finding products, answering questions, and providing knowledgeable recommendations.
- Process sales transactions accurately at the register, including handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain store displays, organize inventory, and ensure visual merchandising standards are met.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with patience and empathy, escalating issues when necessary.
- Support store operations, including stock replenishment, floor cleaning, and opening/closing procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior retail experience is a plus but not required.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and move around the sales floor for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
