Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Point of Sale (POS): Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment by stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and setting up displays.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets, organize inventory, and ensure store operations run smoothly.
- Customer Support: Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels and loyalty.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory counts, stock receiving, and monitoring merchandise levels to prevent stockouts.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required; training provided.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Schedule: Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
- Reliability: Reliable transportation to and from work is essential.
