Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional attitude to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process transactions.
- Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and fully stocked to maintain a visually appealing store environment.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment and organizing merchandise displays.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, services, and store policies in a knowledgeable manner.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales goals and operational targets.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with strict accuracy and adherence to company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
