Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale (POS) system.
- Organize and restock merchandise to ensure the sales floor is visually appealing and well-maintained.
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with patience and escalate issues to management when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with diverse groups.
- Basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register or POS system.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
