Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, answering questions and resolving inquiries promptly.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean, inviting, and well-maintained.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock counts, receiving deliveries, and organizing backroom stock.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily and weekly sales targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse customer groups.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Proficiency with technology and willingness to learn new point-of-sale systems.
