Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor, guiding them through our extensive product lines.
- Sales & Support: Demonstrate and explain the features and benefits of equipment, ensuring customers understand how to use their new gear.
- Operations: Operate the point-of-sale system accurately, process transactions, and manage inventory stock levels.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring all equipment is displayed correctly and in working condition.
- Equipment Management: Assist in the checkout process for equipment rentals and ensure all returned items are inspected and logged properly.
- Problem Solving: Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints efficiently to ensure high satisfaction levels.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service is preferred but not required; training provided.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse clientele.
- Technical Aptitude: Comfortable learning and explaining the operation of various types of equipment (e.g., power tools, audio gear, industrial machinery).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver equipment within the store.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as business demands.
- Availability: Must be available to work a full-time schedule.
