Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers warmly, providing expert product recommendations and equipment demonstrations.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Stock shelves and organize the sales floor to ensure a safe and appealing shopping environment.
- Assist in inventory management, including counting stock and monitoring equipment availability.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless store operations.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues professionally, escalating complex matters when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand and move around the sales floor for extended periods.
- Familiarity with basic computer and POS systems is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
