As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for creating memorable shopping experiences for our customers while helping them find the perfect gear for their next adventure.
Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide expert recommendations on products and equipment.
- Point of Sale (POS): Process transactions accurately, handle returns/exchanges, and manage payments efficiently.
- Visual Merchandising: Maintain store appearance by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the sales floor is clean and inviting.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory counts, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with management on product replenishment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow associates to meet sales goals and support store operations during peak hours.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest outdoor equipment, gear maintenance, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs safely.
