Responsibilities
- Customer Service Excellence: Greet and assist customers with product selection, providing expert advice on equipment usage and maintenance.
- Store Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment, including restocking shelves and organizing inventory displays.
- Point of Sale (POS): Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system, including handling returns and exchanges.
- Merchandising: Implement visual merchandising standards to highlight new arrivals and seasonal promotions.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales floor team to achieve daily sales targets and ensure a seamless shopping experience.
- Equipment Management: Assist in the inspection and maintenance of demo equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required; passion for outdoor activities is a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact positively with a diverse customer base.
- Reliability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver merchandise around the store.
- Basic Tech Skills: Comfortable learning and operating computerized point-of-sale systems.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
