Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service through product knowledge and personalized shopping assistance
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash drawer accountability
- Execute visual merchandising standards including displays, stock rotations, and inventory management
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily/weekly sales targets and KPIs
- Assist with inventory control, receiving shipments, and maintaining organized stockrooms
- Participate in store operations including opening/closing procedures and safety compliance
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with diverse clientele
- Basic math proficiency and comfort with point-of-sale systems
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holiday periods
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly
- Positive attitude with passion for coastal lifestyle products
- High school diploma or equivalent required
