Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale (POS) system.
- Organize merchandise displays and maintain store cleanliness to meet visual merchandising standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking shelves as needed.
- Answer phone inquiries and manage customer complaints with patience and resolve.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales goals and operational targets.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and promotions to effectively assist shoppers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with POS systems.
