Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service through product knowledge, personalized recommendations, and efficient checkout processes
- Drive sales through suggestive selling techniques and maintaining visually appealing store displays
- Manage inventory control including stock replenishment, cycle counts, and loss prevention measures
- Operate POS systems with accuracy while processing payments and handling returns/exchanges
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales goals and maintain store standards
- Assist in visual merchandising to ensure an attractive and organized shopping environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior retail experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with diverse customers
- Basic math proficiency and comfort handling cash transactions
- Availability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds regularly
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic technology
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork in a fast-paced setting
