Responsibilities
- Safely walk and exercise dogs in residential areas and designated parks
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via our mobile app
- Administer basic care including feeding, hydration, and medication as directed
- Maintain detailed activity logs for each pet's health and behavior
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments or grooming services when needed
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for animal handling and emergency situations
- Build trust-based relationships with both pets and their owners
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional time management and punctuality skills
- Strong communication abilities for client interactions
- Physical ability to handle dogs up to 80 lbs
- Smartphone proficiency for our scheduling and communication apps
