Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in various Kansas City neighborhoods while maintaining control and safety
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via our mobile app
- Administer basic care (feeding, medication) as per client instructions
- Monitor pets for health or behavioral changes and document observations
- Maintain detailed digital records of walks and client communications
- Coordinate with pet parents remotely for scheduling updates and special requests
- Adhere to all local pet care regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Smartphone proficiency for remote communication tools
- CPR/First Aid certification for pets (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong understanding of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Ability to work independently while maintaining digital accountability
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
