Responsibilities
- Safely walk and exercise dogs in Lubbock neighborhoods and designated parks
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via our mobile app
- Administer basic care (feeding, medication, potty breaks) as requested
- Maintain detailed activity logs and health observations for each pet
- Build trust-based relationships with both pets and their owners
- Adapt walking routes based on weather conditions and pet needs
- Respond promptly to owner inquiries through our digital platform
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Current pet CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong understanding of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Exceptional time management and digital communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must pass comprehensive background and driving record checks
- Local knowledge of Lubbock's pet-friendly areas preferred
