Responsibilities
- Safely walk and exercise dogs in various Detroit neighborhoods while maintaining pet safety protocols
- Provide real-time photo/video updates and detailed activity reports via our mobile app
- Administer basic care including feeding, medication, and playtime as specified by pet owners
- Build strong relationships with clients through consistent, reliable service and clear communication
- Manage scheduling and route optimization for maximum efficiency and client satisfaction
- Adhere to all company safety standards and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience handling dogs of various sizes and breeds (1+ years preferred)
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record
- Availability for flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills and ability to use mobile technology
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Trustworthiness and ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Deep knowledge of dog behavior and safety best practices
