Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in Lexington neighborhoods and parks while adhering to client instructions
- Provide companionship, playtime, and exercise for pets during scheduled visits
- Monitor pets' health and behavior, reporting any concerns promptly
- Maintain detailed digital logs of walks and pet interactions via our mobile app
- Manage scheduling efficiently with our remote-friendly dispatch system
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via phone/email for updates
- Handle waste disposal and maintain clean equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional pet care experience or equivalent personal experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation within Lexington
- Strong time management skills with punctual work ethic
- Ability to work independently while following detailed instructions
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Physical stamina to walk dogs in various weather conditions
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR (preferred but not required)
