Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using proper leash handling techniques
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via our mobile app
- Administer basic care (fresh water, waste cleanup, treats per instructions)
- Monitor pets' behavior and health during walks, documenting any concerns
- Maintain detailed service logs and client communication records
- Adhere to all local leash laws and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional time management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to walk 3-5 hours daily in Louisiana climate
- Smartphone proficiency for app-based reporting
